C.D. attended the University of Missouri–Columbia and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Communication and Psychology.. After his undergraduate studies at Mizzou, Mr. Longo received his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Longo was selected to mentor a group of incoming law students. He is a member of the Bar Association and licensed to practice in Missouri.. Mr. Longo was recruited by an oil and gas corporation following his graduation from law school. Throughout his tenure with the corporation, Mr. Longo received numerous promotions and eventually served as their General Counsel and Executive Vice President. This experience allows him to have a unique understanding of what companies’ actual legal needs are, how legal concerns directly affect business, and the importance of finding cost-effective solutions.. While working at a publically traded oil and gas company in Houston, Texas, Mr. Longo negotiated, wrote, and reviewed thousands of contracts, with some of the business negotiations concerning hundreds of millions of dollars. During his employment, Mr. Longo was involved in numerous lawsuits, both as the party pursuing legal action and as the defendant..
