Sheila M. Witt, Esq. was born and raised in Southern California, and enjoys serving area residents with the highest level of personalized legal services.. Ms. Witt began and completed her undergraduate education at UCLA, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She was on the Dean’s Honor List all quarters and graduated cum laude and with Alpha Kappa Delta honors.. Ms. Witt attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California where she was awarded several First Honors Awards, including for Legal Research & Writing. After law school, Ms. Witt started her career as an associate for the prestigious international law firm McDermott, Will & Emery, LLP in Century City, California.. At McDermott, Will & Emery, she was a member of the firm’s Trial Department, where she represented and defended clients in a variety of complex civil litigation matters, including contract litigation, employment law, and other financial litigation.. Following her invaluable experience practicing business and employment litigation at McDermott, Will & Emery, Ms. Witt formed her own law office, Witt Law Firm, PC in Orange County, California.. While Ms. Witt still occasionally represents companies, her primary focus is representing individuals. She enjoys representing “the little guy” and helping them vindicate their rights against employers, companies, and insurance carriers. Ms. Witt’s prior experience representing companies gives her unique perspective and insight and enables her to anticipate and thwart arguments and tactics used against her clients. She has experience in state and federal trials and arbitrations, and handles all aspects of litigation.. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, Iranian American Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Ms. Witt is also involved in the local community and is an active member of numerous charity and volunteer organizations including, serving as a volunteer attorney at Public Law Center, an active member of the Junior League of Orange County (JLOCC), and a supporter of OC Elite. During her free time, Ms. Witt enjoys travelling, designing floral arrangements, and spending time with her family.
