Shannon knows no two cases are the same and she enjoys figuring out how to approach each case to get you the best possible outcome. No matter the situation, Shannon prides herself on being upfront, and she refuses to simply tell clients what she thinks they want to hear. She often tells her clients: “I won’t try to sell you the moon and the stars,” meaning she will deliver honest, upfront advice in a way that’s easy to understand.. Shannon was born and raised in Colorado and moved to Kansas City to attend the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law where she has a lot of extended family close by. Shannon joined The Gordon Law Firm in 2014, and is a partner with her husband, Robert. While many people tell her they think it would be hard to work with their spouse, she admits they enjoy the challenge.. When not working, Shannon enjoys spending time with their young son, cooking, DIY projects and playing with their two dogs.
