Russell S. Jacobs is the principal of Russell S. Jacobs, P.A. a five lawyer firm dedicated to individualized service for legal representation in Commercial and Residential transactions with disciplines in various asset classes.  Russ represents a range of clients from a publicly traded real estate developer in the Fortune 500 to individuals purchasing multi-family buildings, office space and gasoline stations.  He is routinely invited to lecture to various real estate trade groups, to condominium association board members on best practices and serves on a legislative committee making recommendations to the Florida legislature for changes to condominium laws.  In the community, Russ has taken an active role in the Dade County Bar Association, chairing the Professionalism Committee.  Prior to entering the field of real estate, Russ was the executive director and directing attorney for Steps Toward Success, a project he created to provide free legal counsel to indigent clients who are starting small businesses funded by Greenberg Traurig, Publix, American Express and the James L. Knight Foundation.  He continues to volunteer his time teaching the legal structure of businesses to fledgling business owners.  Russ graduated magna cum laude fromWashingtonUniversityin St. Louis and was a Jacob and Charlotte Lehrman Foundation Scholar at George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. before returning to Miami where he now raises his three children with his wife, a neighborhood pediatrician.
