Richard D. Richard graduated with honors from the George Washington University Law School in 1991 and received his B.A. in 1988 from Franklin & Marshall College. He grew up in Manalapan Township, New Jersey, and attended Manalapan High School.. Richard regularly represents clients in Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) cases, as well as in cases alleging employment discrimination and retaliation under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Florida Civil Rights Act. Richard also handles cases involving whistleblowing, restrictive covenants (non-competition and non-solicitation agreements), breach of contract and trade secrets, and regularly appears before federal and state agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the U.S. Department of Labor, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Richard has handled a wide range of litigation in federal and state courts in his career, including consumer class actions, business disputes, and litigation under the Title III of the ADA.
