Martá P. Brown is an Associate at Butler Pappas. Prior to joining the firm, Martá worked at an insurance litigation firm where he defended insurers and business entities in a wide range of first and third party coverage issues, bad faith, and complex liability matters, including wrongful death, premises liability, construction defect, and motor vehicle negligence; Martá continues this practice at Butler Pappas. Martá also previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Mecklenburg County District Attorney's Office, where he represented the State of North Carolina in a variety of criminal matters. Martá is admitted in North Carolina. Additionally, he has been admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
