Mr. Culver graduated from the University of Kansas with honors in 1987 and from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1992. Mr. Culver is admitted to practice in front of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and all Colorado state courts.Mr. Culver’s skills and achievements have been repeatedly recognized by his peers, as well as the Colorado judiciary. Most recently, Mr. Culver was elected to be a Fellow in the exclusive and prestigious College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He was also named the 2014 Civil Rights Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers, the 2015 Colorado Constitutional Lawyer of the Year by Global Law Experts and the 2018 Lawyer of the Year for Employment and Labor Law by Lawyer Monthly. Mr. Culver has also been acknowledged as one of the Best Lawyers in America and one of the Top Rated Labor and Employment Lawyers in America by the National Law Journal and the American Lawyer. Storage Tech., which settled for $5 million and significant affirmative relief. He was also lead counsel in Drake v. TalMor Capital Management, LLC, and Edmond Melhado, in which this firm obtained a $3.5 million judgment (including attorney fees and interest) on behalf of their client. This is one of the very largest single plaintiff judgments in a Colorado employment case.Mr. Culver is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s panel of employment law arbitrators. Joel Stauffer graduated with Honors from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Joel graduated from UC Davis Law School near the top of his class and earned the highest grades in a number of his courses, including two Wikins awards.. Joel has a passion for startups. Prior to law school, he worked as an Executive Analyst for Blast Radius, a global digital agency that is part of WPP – one of largest advertising companies. Joel also worked at GSI Commerce, now eBay Enterprise, as an e-commerce analyst.. During his personal time, Joel can be found playing tennis, snowboarding, surfing, hiking or doing any number of outdoor activities.

Joel is an attorney with Rubicon Law Group, Ltd. He practices business law, including formation, funding, and corporate transactions, and enjoys solving problems for growing, innovative companies. Joel currently serves as a Supervising Attorney at the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic in the University of Colorado Law School, volunteers with Rockies Venture Club, and is on the Startup Grind Denver team.. Prior to joining Rubicon Law, Joel worked as an associate with a national design and fabrication firm headquartered near Detroit, MI which developed exhibits displayed by technology and automotive companies. This experience solidified his interest in new technology and business models.. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
