It’s my honor and privilege to help individuals and families overcome the physical, emotional, and financial hardships that result from an accident or personal injury, and help them live a better life from this point forward.
In this country, we have a silent epidemic: traumatic brain injury. A good lawyer needs to advocate for someone who has suffered a traumatic brain injury not just for today, but for what they will need for the rest of their lives. As a lawyer, I am committed to helping these people get the best outcomes to rebuild their lives

In practice since 1988, I have defended the rights of clients throughout Colorado and Wyoming. I handle cases in the counties of Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, Boulder and many other Colorado Counties. In Wyoming, I represent clients in Laramie County and the surrounding area. I have defended clients charged with a wide variety of state and federal criminal defenses; in my more than 20 years of practice, I have represented numerous clients in death penalty cases at both the trial and appellate level.I am admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuits, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona and Texas, the Colorado Supreme Court, the Wyoming Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Arizona.
I've been in practice 26 years, the last 20 with my own firm. It has been an honor to represent over 2,000 clients - both employees and employers - with matters ranging from sexual harassment or discrimination, wrongful termination, unpaid wages or overtime, non-compete agreements, severance agreements, theft of trade secrets, accommodating disabilities, medical leave issues under the Family and Medical Leave Act and much much more. I take very seriously the trust that clients put in me to strongly represent their interests and make sure that each client gets the time and attention they need, along with cutting edge legal research tools, to make sure they get the best possible legal services. I realize that most clients don't come to me because things are going well, and they are often scared and unsure of what their rights are, and what to do to protect those rights. I endeavor to treat clients with compassion and give them all the information they need to know how to navigate their particular matter. And representing both employees and employers gives me a unique perspective on what the "other side" will be thinking or doing in a given matter, rather than having a one sided view of a case. I also enjoy training companies on how to prevent issues such as harassment and discrimination, and to create a more respectful workplace for all.
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, but moved to New Jersey to be with my husband and his family, where we work together at Norgaard O'Boyle. (I work with my husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and two brothers-in-law, and it is such a blessing to be able to work with family!) I currently live in Bergen County, New Jersey, with my husband and my son, born in November of 2016.. I'm one of a lucky few who love their jobs. I see a lawyer's role as solving people's problems, and I love working with my clients to identify solutions that work for them, given their individual needs.
I previously worked as counsel for a federal agency. I understand just how overwhelming and intimidating it can be to sue the federal government. That is why I started Williams & Rhodes LLP - to help federal employees and others sucessfully navigate this very complex system and prevail on their claims against the federal government.
I like to consider myself a practical and efficient problem solver. At the end of the day I know my clients are usually trying to mitigate their loses. This often means that I will recommend a course of action that will result in the most advantageous result for the smallest legal bill. Sometimes what you "can do" isn't always what you "should do". I strive to work effectively, honestly, and tenaciously, for all of my clients regardless of the size of the retainer. I want all of my clients to know, without doubt, that I put their best interest ahead of everyone else's, including my own.
I am an experienced trial attorney specializing in efficiently resolving complex disputes concerning construction, insurance, personal injury, premises liability, product liability and toxic torts. I thorooughly enjoy assisting cients in navigating our legal system, and look forward to hearing from you today.
