When I was nine my aunt told me I should be a lawyer when I grew up because I argued about everything, really, really well. That's when I learned I could make a living doing what I loved: winning arguments. After graduating from Columbia University, New York City's only Ivy League school I went on to Fordham Law. Fordham was the only law school ranked in the top twenty-five nationwide that offered a night program in New York. Since I was working full time to pay my own way, Fordham's top tier night division was perfect for me.. After two years working at different firms, gaining experience in multiple areas of legal practice I hit the mother lode. I got a full time job working for one of the best litigators in New York City (which made him one of the best in the country). Over the next six years, this incredible lawyer, who became my friend and mentor, taught me how to be the best litigator I could be. Since then I've used the foundation he helped me build to hone my skills as a counselor and advocate. Whether counseling clients, arguing motions and appeals or, persuading a jury to find in my client's favor at trial, I've spent the next two decades becoming a top tier litigation attorney. Now, I put those skills and experience to work for individuals, businesses and other organizations in state and federal courts throughout New York state. And I can do the same for you.

There is no better feeling for a lawyer representing an injured client than that experienced when we are able to obtain full compensation for the pain and suffering that a client has experienced.. Having been a trial lawyer for over 40 years, experience has taught me many lessons. Some of the most important are to be passionate about your case, be prepared to prosecute your client’s claim all the way to verdict and to be relentless in obtaining justice for your client.. My law career started as an Assistant District Attorney where I gained priceless trial experience. In private practice as a sole practitioner for a number of years, I learned the importance of maximizing every recovery possible. Due to my extensive trial experience I came to handle some of the most hard fought cases in the Civil Court arena, those being medical malpractice cases.. I have been accorded the highest possible peer review rating (AV) for both legal ability and ethical standards by the internationally recognized Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory which rates attorneys worldwide. In fact, in 2015 I celebrated my twentieith year anniversary of such a rating.. I have now joined Cellino & Barnes because they offered me the best opportunity to continue what I do best – represent clients who are injured by the negligence of others, whether it be as a result of a motor vehicle accident, a construction accident or medical malpractice.. For those clients that I have had the honor of representing in the past, I say thank you for putting your trust in me. For those individuals who I might represent in the future, I promise you my best effort in our journey for justice.
