When I'm not representing my clients, I take advantage of living in our beautiful state of Colorado. I love camping, hiking and snowboarding. The mountains are the reason I moved to Colorado two years ago and they are the reason I stay.

My practice includes a mixture of family law and civil litigation cases.  In the family law arena, I have experience with divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, paternity and relinquishment and adoption issues.  In the civil litigation arena, I focus primarily on contract disputes, including the protection of contract rights of creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.  I have experience in probate and in estate planning for small estates which do not require federal tax planning.. Outside of the office, I enjoy hiking, snowshoeing and traveling.  These adventures have taken me to Vietnam and Cambodia and to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.  I have also been to all 50 of the United States.

My goal is to find creative and practical ways to solve environmental problems and disputes. My science masters degree enables me to understand the technical issues; my long legal experience enables me to effectively interact with regulators or opposing parties.
