I was able to sit next to The Commissioner in court, and was able to see the entire process from the inside. My experience with The Commissioner was invaluable to me in preparing to practice. I moved to St. George and began practicing Family Law. I find great value in helping families navigate the complexities of domestic and family Law. As a service to our community, I served for nearly 10 years as one of the Small Claims Judge Pro-Tempore for the Washington County Justice Court. I have more than 26 years’ experience as an attorney. I graduated in the top 10% of my class from the J. Rueben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, in 1988. I was lead articles editor for the Brigham Young University Law Review and upon graduation became a member of The Order of the Coif. After graduating from law school in 1988, I joined the national law firm of Kirkland & Ellis (“K&E”), in Chicago, Illinois.
