Ms. Dahlquist is a Certified Guardian ad Litem with the Circuit Court of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, DuPage County.  Ms. Dahlquist was named an Emerging Lawyer by the Leading Lawyer Network in 2015 and 2016 in the area of family law.  She was the recipient of the DuPage County Bar Association Pro Bono Service Award in 2011, and the DuPage County Bar Association Board of Directors Award in 2013.  She chaired the Continuing Legal Education and Membership Committees of the DuPage County Bar Association from 2011-2015, and served as Secretary of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers from 2011-2013.  In 2015, Ms. Dahlquist was appointed by the President of the Illinois State Bar Assocation to serve on an Illinois State Bar Association special committee for proposed reform of Supreme Court Rule 711, and in 2014, she was appointed by the Presiding Judge of the DuPage County Domestic Relations Division for proposed reform of local court rules regarding mandatory financial disclosure statements.  Ms. Dahlquist remains an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association.. Ms. Dahlquist has concentrated her practice in family law since the inception of her legal career.  Prior to forming Nigohosian & Dahlquist, PC, Ms. Dahlquist was a partner at Momkus McCluskey Roberts, LLC and was an attorney at Botti Marinaccio, Ltd.. Ms. Dahlquist earned her Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2008, and her Bachelors of Science degree, cum laude, from Illinois State University in 2005. During law school, she was named to the Dean’s List on several occasions. During law school, Ms. Dahlquist served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Hardy-Campbell in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Domestic Relations Division, as a legal intern for the Chicago-Kent Family Law Offices, and as a law clerk for a prominent Chicago matrimonial law firm.. Ms. Dahlquist is a native of the Western Suburbs, where she currently resides with her family.

Michael J. Scalzo has been practicing law for more than 35 years, concentrating in family law and civil litigation.  He has tried dozens of cases to verdict and through the appellate process.  More importantly, he has negotiated favorable settlements on behalf of his clients and avoided litigation.. He is a court appointed divorce mediator in DuPage County and has successfully mediated hundreds of cases.  He is also a court approved civil law mediator and has mediated cases involving hundreds of thousands of dollars.  Also, he is a chair-qualified arbitrator of major cases in the court-annexed arbitration program.  He frequently is court-appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) and frequently acts on behalf of minor children in various court proceedings.  Since 2002, Mr. Scalzo has been an active practitioner of Collaborative Law in resolving disputes respectfully and responsibly without court intervention.
