I began my legal career as a prosecutor for Canyon County handling hundreds of criminal cases at a time. I have an enormous amount of courtroom experience due to this. Whether was is a jury trial or a court trial, I did it all as a prosecutor. Then I switched to being a civil prosecutor for Ada County. I drafted contracts, litigated civil cases on behalf of the county, and learned the intricacies of how the law applies to local governments. I also began my career in employment law with Ada County. I filed documents with the Idaho Human Rights Commission and conducted interviews with county employees trying to discover any misconduct that could expose the county to risk..
