Evan R. Berman graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in philosophy, and then went on to graduate magna cum laude with a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. He has practiced law for over 12 years.  He has served as Associate General Counsel for Factory Motor Parts, a privately held company based in Eagan, Minnesota, and Hawkins, Inc., a public corporation based in Roseville, Minnesota. As Associate General Counsel, he represented his companies in a wide variety of commercial matters, including contract drafting, negotiations, resolutions of disputes, and risk mitigation. He has used his experience to instruct other in-house counsel regarding how best to transfer risk through strategic contract drafting. Over 5 years ago he opened his own practice, Berman Law Services LLC, where he specializes in helping clients with all their contractual needs.  Additionally he specializes in buying and selling businesses, commercial leasing, and helping his clients settle all manners of disputes.
