Courtney L. Zamudio is a native of Traverse City, Michigan.  She graduated from Northwestern Michigan College with an Associate of Applied Science in Law Enforcement.  Upon graduation she was employed by the Leelanau County Sheriff’s Department as a Sheriff’s Deputy.  Courtney later went on to attend the University of Oklahoma where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology/Sociology.  After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, Courtney was employed by the State of Oklahoma’s Office of Juvenile Affairs in Norman, Oklahoma.  Part of working at the Office of Juvenile Affairs meant Courtney spent time in the courtroom advocating on behalf of the juveniles on her caseload.  This ignited her passion for the area of law and trial advocacy.  Courtney left the Office of Juvenile Affairs to attend law school at Oklahoma City University School of Law where she graduated with a Juris Doctorate.. While in law school Courtney competed as a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers’ National Trial Competition and was a member of Public Interest Law Group, Parents Attending Law School, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court.  She also served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and had the opportunity to intern at the United States Attorney’s Office – Western District of Oklahoma and Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office where she assisted with felony domestic violence cases.. Born and raised as the only Chinese-American on the French Caribbean island of Saint Martin, Alex had brief stints throughout the Caribbean and South America where he attended schools taught only in French, Spanish, and Papiamento. Alex eventually migrated to the United States and earned his undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and his Juris Doctorate in Virginia from George Mason University School of Law, a Tier I law school, which he attended because of its focus on economics in law and libertarian philosophy.. Following law school, Alex practiced criminal law in Virginia, which included criminal appellate matters. (See Little v. Commonwealth (2012) 777 S.E.2d 317 (Va. Ct. App. 2012).) Alex ultimately moved back to California and spent five years practicing business litigation, primarily focusing on employment, construction defect, and contract. Abby began her legal career in 2007 at Hawley Troxell in Boise, Idaho. Upon returning to her native state of Tennessee she began working for attorney Mitch Shannon in 2011 as his Legal Administrative Assistant/Paralegal. She has worn many hats over the years, from meeting with clients to preparing and drafting documents, and on top of that assisting in court with the paperwork needed for Orders of Protection. Mr. Terral practices in Brentwood and Murfreesboro.  He is admitted to the Tennessee bar and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Tennessee districts.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (California).  Mr. Terral provides legal services in Williamson, Rutherford, Davidson, and surrounding counties, with a practice emphasis in divorce and family cases and social security disability cases and appeals.. I grew up in a small town in Middle Tennessee.  At the age of 13, I decided to pursue a law degree so that I could help other people.  13 years later, I was sworn in as a Tennessee attorney and began doing just that..
