Loren A. Sanderson is the newest and first female member at Kious, Rodgers, Barger, & Sanderson, PLLC. Loren focuses her practice on litigation in the area of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, contempt, dependent neglect, and adoption. Loren also assists clients with criminal defense, probate, and estate planning matters. Loren joined the firm in 2015 after establishing her practice with a firm in Nashville. Loren is also a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator and has extensive experience mediating family law disputes. Loren graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2008 with a B.S. in Political Science and went on to attend law school and earn her Juris Doctor in 2012 from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.. Loren is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, where she grew up on a horse farm just outside the city and attended Lausanne Collegiate School. In her personal time, Loren enjoys kayaking, hiking, traveling and experiencing new cultures, politics, history, and spending time with her husband, Curt Cobb, dogs, Charlotte and Sadie, and cat, Finn.

I was born and raised right here in Middle Tennessee.  My wife and I have one daughter that keeps us very busy.  I studied political science and history in college and obtained my law degree at the Nashville School of Law.  While I attended law school at night, I spent my days as a judicial commissioner/magistrate in my hometown of Warren County, as well as two years as the DUI Coordinator for the Williamson County District Attorney's Office.  Upon completion of law school and passing the bar exam, I was immediately promoted to DUI Prosecutor.  I have conducted several jury trials in my career and enjoy the challenges involved in litigating cases in the courtroom.  I take pride in my work and make sure that all of my clients feel like part of the family.  If there is anything I can do to assist you or your family, then please do not hesitate to give me a call.

I am a 3rd generation attorney. I have lived in Murfreesboro, Tennessee my entire life and representing my community is what I take pride in. I studied Criminal Justice in college and went to have an internship at the 16th Judicial District's District Attorney's Office in the spring of 2008. Afterward, I became a paralegal for Sonya W. Henderson and remained her paralegal for over 4 years while I attended law school. After graduating law school, I took interest in practicing criminal defense, family law, juvenile, and personal injury. I love my clients and want to make sure that they get the absolutely best result.

Attorney Mary Lynn Damaré has practiced law for over 30 years and has lived and practiced law in DeSoto County, Mississippi for 17 years. She was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1987 and the Tennessee Bar in 2009. Her legal experience includes family, criminal, personal injury, and civil law cases in the local  city, county, chancery, and circuit courts in Mississippi and Tennessee.  Her broad based experience includes active duty service in the United States Air Force with the Judge Advocate General's Corps. She then served as a reserve Air Force JAG officer, retiring in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2014. Mary Lynn also appears on behalf of her clients at Social Security Disability hearings, and has helped many to obtain benefits.         Mary Lynn is interested in finding solutions, but also is a strong litigator when a case requires a judge and jury.  A graduate of the University of Mississippi Law School and Delta State University, she is a Mississippi native who understands that when a legal issue arises, you need a trusted professional. Tara Carter has worked extensively in the areas of family law, probate and real property for nearly a decade. Ms. Carter has practiced in all areas of family law including divorce, post-divorce, child custody, child support and grandparents’ rights. She has assisted clients with estates, estate planning, conservatorships and creating wills and trusts. Ms. Carter has also worked extensively in real property by assisting clients with evictions, foreclosures, deeds to real property and loan closings.

Allison graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Tennessee in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies with a double concentration in African American Studies and Women Studies. She later graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Law in 2004 and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in November 2004. Allison has been recognized in Cityview Magazine as a Top Attorney for Family Law and Adoption, most recently in 2020. She was also voted runner-up in Metro Pulse for Best Lawyer in Knoxville in 2013.. She is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and the American Inns of Court. In 2020, Allison was selected as a Fellow of the Knoxville Bar Foundation and was a member of the 2020 graduating class of Leadership Knoxville.. Allison is heavily involved throughout the community holding several leadership positions. She currently serves as a mentor in the UT Promise Mentor Program, Vice President of the Arts & Cultural Alliance Board of Directors which she has served on since 2015, and the Knoxville Opera Board of Directors which she has served on since 2009. Allison is also a member of the Knoxville Opera Guild and serves on the Board of Directors for Nief-Norf, a contemporary chamber music ensemble. She has also served on the Diversity Advisory Committee at the Episcopal School of Knoxville and as a member of the Knox Heritage Board of Directors where she served as Vice President of the organization from 2013-2015.

Crystal Etue focuses her practice in matters related to Family Law and Juvenile Law.  Her services inclulde divorce, child custody, post-judgment modifications and enforcement, dependency and neglect and termination of parental rights. I graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego in December 2010. Shortly thereafter, I moved from California to my hometown in Tennessee. In 2011 I was admitted to both the California and the Tennessee Bar. I now primarily handle domestic issues including divorce, child custody, adoption, and post-divorce cases as well as some select criminal law cases.

I am a licensed and practicing attorney in the state of Tennessee. I am currently with the law firm of Whatley and Ricci, PLLC in Columbia, TN. I graduated from Nashville School of Law in May 2023 and became licensed in October of the same year. Since 2020, I have worked under Jason Whatley as a paralegal and law clerk, now as an associate attorney. My practice is primarily family law and juvenile cases.

With a catholic father from New York and an evangelical mother who grew up outside of Houston, Shawn learned to appreciate multiple sides and outlooks early on in life.  He’s not scared of conflict, but rather views it as an opportunity to learn something new.. Shawn’s naturally inclined to help people solve their disagreements before going to war and this mentality serves his family law clients well.  Most families don’t need to hire a warrior who views every encounter as a battle to be won; they need a lawyer who simply sees problems that need to be solved.. A native Texan, Shawn went to Texas A&M University where he double-majored in Political Science and English and also received a minor in History.. Shawn received his JD from South Texas College of Law.  While in law school he taught himself how to play guitar.  His guitar playing skills are very much on par with his singing ability, which is to say: they are both quite mediocre, but he entertains himself and his wife, Lesley, is kind enough to humor him.. After law school, Shawn spent nearly three years as the executive director of a community mediation center.  He is a Rule 31 mediator and has participated in hundreds of mediations..
