Except for the time it took to earn both undergraduate and law degrees from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, I have lived in Austin, Texas since the fourth grade.  I’m proud to come from a long line of lawyers and public servants.  I have spent over 20 years practicing Family Law, including  divorce, complex property division, child custody, child support, collaborative law, adoptions, pre and post-nuptial agreements, family violence (Protective Orders), and virtually every aspect of the law affecting families. Since 2006, I have been Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.. John Hennan is a born advocate, and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. John seeks out clients who need true advocacy and assistance, and believes that the best resolution in any case, whether through trial or settlement, is achieved by being prepared to litigate in court. John has experience in both trial and appellate court, and has been named a Super Lawyer for the last 10 years in a row.. John enjoys being active: working out, running, playing rugby and other sports. He loves world travel, likes to read history books, listen to music of all types (ranging from Etta James to Iron Maiden), and spends extended periods of time roughhousing with his two dogs, Bruni, Zeppelin, and Gucci. John earned his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, and simultaneously earned a Master of Laws while studying at University College London.

After working in the criminal justice field for more than 25 years, Matt Grove saw how the criminal justice system was negatively impacting families. He found his true calling in family law, which is why he founded The Grove Law Firm, PC. Since then, Matt has worked extensively in general family and child protection (CPS) law. My family moved to the small town of Round Top, Texas, when I was 11 years old, and I grew up in our family's cafe, working from that time on. I learned from my family the value of customer service, hard work, and the value of relationships. In deciding to pursue a career as an attorney, those have all served me very well.. I attended the University of Texas for both undergrad and law school, and have been a resident of Austin since 1998. I originally pursued a legal career in mergers and acquisitions and corporate work, but quickly realized it was not best for me. I was fortunate to find a great mentor with Tim Whitten, and began practicing with Brad Coldwell and Charlie Bowes in 2010.  I have learned a great deal with both Charlie and Brad, and was made partner in early 2016.. I love practicing family law, helping out clients, and working to obtain the best results from my clients, whether working to resolve the issue by way of informal settlement, mediation, or, in some cases, before a judge.

Kimberly G. Kleinhans was born in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, graduated cum laude from Penn State University in Crime, Law, and Justice with a minor in Law and Liberal Arts.  She was co-captain of the Penn State Altoona tennis team; Vice-President of Zeta Xi Epsilon and founding sister of Gamma Phi Beta; an officer in the criminal justice honor's program, Alpha Phi Sigma; panhellenic representative on the Penn State Inner-Greek Counsel, and President/Founder of the Penn State Altoona Ski Club.. After working for numerous firms as a paralegal, Kimberly applied to law school and received a scholarship.  She graduated with distinction from the Thomas Cooley Law School in 2008.. Kimberly's achievements include representation of a client on the Dr. Phil show, representing Willie Nelson's co-defendant, and leading numerous personal injury pre-litigation settlements on personal injury and general litigation cases. Recently Kimberly completed all of the necessary educational requirements to become a member of the State College Bar of Texas. In her free time, Kimberly enjoys attending Austin Christian Fellowship, running, triathlons, wake-boarding, tennis, and reading.

Lori M. Kern has been involved in the practice of family law since 1999. She began her law career as a paralegal before becoming an attorney in 2009, and has worked for various law firms and organizations throughout the greater Houston area. Lori has been practicing since 2009 and has been Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2015.  She established Kern Law, PLLC in 2017, and practices in Fort Bend and surrounding counties.She has numerous published works and has spoken at several legal conferences and seminars. She is an active member of various professional associations. In 2015, Lori represented a client in the first same-sex divorce case in Harris County history, an event which was covered in local news media. Lori is a former chair of the Collaborative Law Section and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Family Law Section for the Houston Bar Association, as well as several other area family law organizations.  Lori is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. Lori is a native Houstonian and attended St. Agnes Academy.. In her spare time, Lori enjoys traveling, cooking, crafting, reading, volunteering with local animal rescue groups, and spending time with her husband and dogs.
