My background includes 15 consecutive years as a paralegal in family law, litigation and criminal defense. In 2000, after a lengthy decision process, I applied for admission to law school. I was initially accepted and started law school at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in 2002 and transferred back to the University of Denver in 2004. While in law school, I worked full time in addition to caring for my three children. Usually, it takes 3 years to earn a law degree but working full time required a longer commitment. I graduated in 2007.. I understand many of the hardships, stress and difficulties people face when dealing with the legal system. When children are involved, the process appears even more stressful and only adds to an already heartbreaking situation. I work hard to create a cooperative working relationship with all my clients and make every attempt to be available at reasonable times. As my current and past clientele can attest, I am approachable and do not make anyone feel as though they cannot discuss anything required to alleviate concerns. Ashley is a Colorado native and attended the University of Denver where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in 2006.  Ashley obtained her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2011.. During law school she completed an externship in St. Croix, USVI where she worked on class action and personal injury cases.  Ashley has volunteered as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) advocate to protect the best interests of abused and neglected children in both her community and the courtroom.  Ashley worked at a Colorado Springs Law Firm for three years where she practiced family law and bankruptcy law.  Ashley’s passion is to help her clients during stressful and challenging times by providing legal guidance and a compassionate ear to those in need.. Outside the practice of law, Ashley enjoys reading, skiing, exploring her beautiful home state with her family, and is a certified yoga instructor.

Blake is a young lawyer from New York who began their career in the legal field as a law clerk for a small family law firm in Miami, Florida. Blake attended The Florida State University where they received a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Sciences with a minor focused in Psychology. Despite being a diehard Seminole fan, Blake attended the University of Miami School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctorate in 2019. While at the University of Miami, Blake worked for both a private family law firm and the Health Rights Clinic on campus.
