He completed his law degree and passed the bar shortly thereafter.. Brian has been practicing law and primarily family law for more than 15 years now. He previously worked for the Sonoma County District Attorney and the Child Support Department, before starting his own law practice. I have been practicing family law since 1997. I am a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and the Sonoma County Bar Association. Prior to commencing practice in Sonoma County, I worked with the Marin Family Law Center assisting clients in need of family law services who had limited incomes.. Currently, I serve as a volunteer panelist for the Sonoma County Courts and conduct Settlement Conferences for contested Family Law matters. I have served as President and Director of Sonoma County Women in Law and was a member of the Sonoma County Family Law Best Practices Committee.. In addition to training in collaborative law and completing the San Francisco Bar Mediation training, I have been appointed by the Sonoma County Superior Court to serve as a private judge yielding another perspective to any family law matter.. Mr. Campoy graduated with distinction from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Legal Process and admitted to the Roger J. I love my work, but I also love to play.  You can find me mountain biking, playing in a men's baseball league, throwing frisbee, running, playing in my band, and generally just having fun with my kids and my family.  It is important to take time to play.  Unfortunately, too many times we let the stress of everyday life take over and forget the therapuetic qualities of playing.  I encourage my clients to take time and play even though they are going through what likely is the single most difficult time in their life becasue it allows them to obtain clarity, which is so important when facing some of the most significant and difficult decisions they will ever make.

I have always wanted to help people.  But after many years as a mid-level accounting supervisor, I felt completely unfulfilled and decided it was time to follow my childhood dream and go to law school.  I attended Empire College School of Law, in Sonoma County, California, and graduated in 2011.  I took the California State Bar Exam in July 2011 and was admitted to the bar in December 2011.. I have been a single mom for most of my children's lives.  I have been through divorce and I have been through custody cases.  I have a first hand perspective of what it's like to be a family law client.  Having this experience allows me to truly understand you.  It also allows me to have a real perspective on not only what you are going through emotionally, but also what you can expect throughout the family law process.. I record a weekly video on YouTube where I answer family law questions or give helpful tips about family law related matters, called Coffee Breaks with Beki.  I keep the videos between 10-15 minutes, so that you can watch them on your coffee break!. When I'm not practicing law, I enjoy watching my son play sports or going on hikes / adventures with my husband.  I hold state records for powerlifting in the USAPL for my age/weight class and enjoy body building.

Later, she worked in New York City as a Marketing Executive in the Fashion Industry.. Ms. Amini attended Chapman University School of Law, where she served on the Mock Trial Board and became President of the American Constitution Society. She received CALI awards for her work in Chapman's prestigious Elder Law Clinic and for her performance in Trial Practice under the Honorable W. Michael Hayes.
