I am a JD/MPA with distinguished legal and management experiences in the private and public sectors. My expertise in labor and employment law, labor-managment relations, collective bargaining, general civil litigation, bankruptcy, family law, human resources, employee relations, and management enable me to successfully navigate a case's complexities to ensure that my clients' needs are met. Further, I am naturally talented in building relationships and working with people. I connect with others in ways that inspire change and results. As a volunteer, I once helped an organization save $10,000 to $15,000 a month by simply taking the time to build personal relationships with the people the organization depended on for its services. Many of the techniques I helped develop and implement at that organization are still in place today and have even been adopted by similar organizations around the world. As an innovative negotiator and problem-solver, I am able to find solutions to even the most complex challenges. On my very first day working as an attorney at a Utah law office, I negotiated a settlement in a highly contested civil litigation matter without the help of the lead attorney. I have since negotiated or mediated dozens of settlements in myriad situations and organizations.
