Alyssa earned her Juris Doctor and her Masters degree at Georgia State University. While in law school, Alyssa was an active member of the Family Law Society and served as a student member of the Welton Family Law Inn of Court. During an internship with a local family law attorney, Alyssa developed her passion for family law. During her third year of law school, Alyssa interned with the Honorable Jane C. Barwick of the Superior Court of Fulton County, Family Division, where she observed numerous court proceedings and conducted extensive and complex research on the subject of family law.
