Advice on weed and gun charge in Texas

Location: McAllen ,Texas I got booked at the beginning of this year with a dispo thc pen with less than a gram in it and I was carrying my firearm. I’ve been charged with the misdemeanor of carrying my firearm yk while having the pen on me and my possession charge is still pending I was supposed to have my court date this past month but they moved it to December. This is my first time having anything on my record, I got pulled over by a state trooper in McAllen for my brake light but he said I looked nervous. I feel like it might be too late for a lawyer, any feedback or related experiences?
