Car accident advice

Hello this is my first time posting I was in a 4 car accident and want to know how I should go about this. It happened in San Antonio Texas. It was in stop and go traffic and I had come to a stop when I saw the vehicle behind me barley avoid hitting me through my rear view mirror by braking late, when I looked back to the front I got hit by the car behind me hard since they got rear ended by the car behind them and it launched my car forward to tap the car in front luckily only damage to the car in front of me was a dented license plate. My wife and I are pretty banged up and went to the doctor as she hit her head on the door and had a headache and neck pain fortunately everything was okay and it was just a sprain and strain at the neck. I called my insurance and they told me to file a claim to get my car fixed and pay my deductible and they would go after the party at fault refund me the deductible and my rates would not go up. My question is should I get a lawyer involved as we both have to miss work on Monday due to the soreness and pain we are going through. As well as am I liable at all in a situation like this if I had safe distance to the car in front and was pushed into them. Any advice is appreciated. Location: San Antonio Tx
