Good Evening Everyone, Since January 22nd i took my car for a oil leak to a mechanic recommended by my mothers aunt. In a course of 9 months i took it to him 6 times each time for oil leak, once for misfire and twice for gas leak. He fixed the misfire but not the oil and gas leak. For the oil and gas leak i paid him $1400 ish in cash no recipes. I do have pictures of leaving the car, an air tag inside the car with screen shots of it being at his shop and his home( am assuming) and pictures of the the parts and work he claims to have changed. I have yet to talked to him, i plan on calling him and asking him what work he has done and record the call. I have yet to take it to another shop for second opinion but one of my professors has a lot of experience working with these engines and after talking to him and showing him photos agrees theres little chance any work was done to it.
