Credit Time Served Question

immigration attorney Texas Nov 4, 2026
Location: Miami I have a friend who's in jail near Dallas. She's been in custody since January when she got arrested in Los Angeles on a warrant from Texas. Then extradited to Texas on early-March. The following months, I called a bail bond office and a kind lady told me that my friend has another warrant from Miami, FL, where I'm from. I told her mother about it but she doesn't told my friend. So, my friend took a plea deal last month (October 20) of "6 months of state jail felony conviction; 277 days credited as I was told - I did the math of the day she got arrested to the guilty plea). She wants to get out of jail and be transferred to Immigration. But it's been over 10 days and ICE hasn't picked her up. I think that warrant from Miami is delaying the process. Though I called the jail and other bail bonds, they say they don't see another warrant. But one did, said "warrant returned" in January. Long story for the paragraph. But my question if she gets transfer to Miami, does all the days she did in custody in LA and Texas are credited to another case from another state?
