David Isenberg is of counsel in the Global Corporate Department of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. He has been associated with the Firm since 2001.Mr. Isenberg specializes in the structuring, documentation and resolution of secured transactions, in each case with respect to both senior and junior secured positions in the capital structure. Mr. Isenberg represents clients on both sides of new financing transactions. Mr. Isenberg has particular experience in the representation of secured creditors in workouts and loan restructurings. Bray of “Distressed Debt Investing – Risk Considerations” in The Handbook of Loan Syndications and Trading, Allison Taylor and Alicia Sansone (McGraw Hill 2007). Mr. Isenberg is also a regular contributor to The Journal of Corporate Renewal. Mr. Isenberg is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Commercial Bankruptcy Committee of the American Bar Association.Mr. Isenberg received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA with honors in 1983 and his J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 1986, where he was Recent Updates Editor on the UCLA Pacific Basin Law Journal.
