Through the continued efforts of Mr. Taus in working with the family and the school staff, the child’s education now includes integration into some “mainstream” classes with the ongoing goal of complete integration by the time the child reaches high school. Mr. Taus’s work with the family and the school district has been credited with changing some of that school district’s policies in dealing with special needs children.
