Dionne E. Choyce has acquired a great reputation for being a passionate and hardworking trial attorney. His courtroom development began at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he helped lead the McGeorge trial competition team to a Regional Championship in the American Trial Lawyers Association Competition (ATLA). I recently left the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office where I worked as a prosecutor for 25 years.  I have extensive jury trial experience in all areas of criminal law including murder, robbery, burglary, sexual assault, domestic violence, gang related crimes, drugs and driving under the influence.  For the last several years I served as a senior managment attorney supervising a branch office and more recently, the sexual asault and family violence prosecution teams.  As a former prosecutor, I have unique insight as to how prosecutors think and and how they value cases.  I know what defenses work and how to successfully use tthose defenses to help my clients accused of a crime.  I am ready to fight as hard for my clients as I did in my previous career.  I am well known in the legal community and enjoy an excellent reputation for being a highly skilled advocate.  I look forward to using my skills to help my clients with their legal problems here in Solano County and the greater Bay Area..
