Robert Wilhite was born in Dallas, Texas in 1978. He has one brother Nathan, who lives in Seattle, WA and is a Senior Manager of Product Management at Amazon Video. As a young boy Rob was very active in sports and outdoor activities. He played football, baseball and lacrosse in high school at Highland Park High School in Dallas. He was also enjoyed numerous other outdoor activities. He learned many of his outdoor skills in his quest to become an Eagle Scout, which he succeeded in becoming in 1994. After graduating high school 1996, Rob attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. As a freshman, he lived in Farrand Hall dormitory and also became a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He became involved in many different social activities with his new fraternity brothers and friends, while continuing his pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During the summers, Rob and his brother Nathan would go on backpacking and climbing trips so that they could spend time together. They spent summers trekking through Greenland and hiking and climbing in Pakistan. While these trips broadened Rob’s horizon to the world, he continued to work on his degree which he completed in 2000. After graduating from the University of Colorado, Rob took a year off from his studies. He moved to Alabama where he worked for an outdoor clothing and equipment store. He spent his time teaching kids how to rock climb, while at the same time taking his climbing and hiking skills all around the South. He then started his pursuit of a law degree in 2001 at The University of Tulsa. Upon graduation from law school in 2004, he moved to Denver where he was hired as an associate for The Sawaya Law Firm in 2005. Rob has worked his way up through the law firm to become the managing partner of the Litigation Department until he became the majority shareholder in June 2021.  As he continued to grow the firm he changed the name of the firm to The Wilhite Law Firm January 1, 2023,. Over his career he has worked on many large and complex cases and has taken many large and small cases to trial. Rob works on a variety of cases that include; but are not limited to, automobile accidents, insurance bad faith, wrongful death, and trucking accident. Rob is currently an active member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, Colorado Bar Association, and the Denver Bar Association. Rob is licensed to practice in Colorado and Texas courts and the United States District Court for Colorado. He has been named a 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Rising Young Star by 5280. When Rob is not in court he loves to spend his free time traveling, training for triathlons and spending time with his wife, daugther and lab.   In 2010, Rob competed in his first triathlon - the Boise 70.3 Ironman. Since then he has done multiple 70.3 Ironman races and full distance Ironman races. In addition to all his work Rob loves to travel. He recently went to Africa to compete in Ironman Africa. I was a bad alcoholic and cocaine abuser for a number of years.  Through good luck and tremendoul outpouring of love and support from my family, friends and the profession I have been given reprieve from that hell for close to 15 years. Now in my life and work I am well suited to understand and advocate for those who are still suffering the consequences of their bad choices and addictions. I devote as much time and energy as it takes to be of assistance to suffering members of my profession.. I am an avid skier. I was a member of the National Ski Patrol when I was In College. I was a ski racer and a member of the USSA for many years.. I am an avid horseman. I have been a member of the Roundup Riders of the Rockies for a number of years.  I have played polo for 30 years and a member of the USPA .  I have been a mounted fox hunter for 30 years and member of the MFHA.  I also enjoy show jumping.. I am an avid hunter. My favorite is upland game. I also enjoy Mountain hiking and climbing.. I enjoy restoring old cars.. I owned and operated a working Navaho Churro sheep ranch in San Miguel county New Mexico for 20 years.
