He has been a presenter for the Kansas Bar Association.. Tim and his wife, Lesli, grew up in Belleville, Kansas. Tim earned a degree in Business Administration at Kansas State University, in 1985. Tim graduated from University of Kansas School of Law in 1988 (KU won the NCAA Basketball Tournament that year). Lesli is the coordinator for Families Together, Inc., a firm which provides information to Kansas families that have a child with a disability. Tim and Lesli have three children, Kristina, Nathan, and Bradly. During their personal time, Tim and Lesli like to exercise, watch movies, and read. They enjoy time with their grandchildren (courtesy Kristina and her husband) and are always game for a good sporting event.  Tim and Lesli are parishioners of the Christ the King Church in Topeka.
