I am originally from Puerto Rico and speak fluent Spanish. After High School I attented Tufts Univerity in the Boston Area of Massachusetts where I studied International Relations. After University I worked at a boutique Immigration Law firm where i learned the importance of treating our clients like I would like to be treated myself. I came to minnesota for my legal education where i Aattended the University of Minnesota Law School. I met my wife while here and we and our dog live in Minneapolis, where we enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with our family.

This year i watched my son graduate high school and matriculate to the University of South Carolina. I watched my daughter graduate pre-school and start kindergarten. Our family loves to travel and spend time outside in both the summer and winter here in Minnesota.. Joe Osterbauer was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attended Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School, St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and received his law degree in 1990 from the William Mitchell College of Law.
