During this time Dan began learning the fundamental elements of insurance litigation, workers' compensation and family law. Dan assisted Art Oliver, Roland Walker and Betty Wilson with various projects. Dan even assisted Art Oliver with an automobile accident trial. Dan regards his law clerk experience at Oliver, Walker and Wilson as absolutely invaluable.. Dan earned several awards during law school. No other award is more cherished by Dan that the Order of Barristers. The Order of Barristers is given to only ten students in each graduating class. It is for excellence in moot court. During law school Dan showed his proficiency in the courtroom by winning the regional moot court competition. While in law school Dan also received the R. David Ray Award for Trial Advocacy and the Roscoe Anderson award for Excellence in Moot Court.. Dan graduated from law school in 1997 and later joined Oliver, Walker, Wilson as an associate attorney. In August of 1998 Dan accepted a new position as an attorney with the law firm of Inglish and Monaco, P.C. in Lake Ozark, Missouri. After working for three years with Lewis Bridges and Tim Cisar in the Lake Ozark office of Inglish and Monaco, Dan, Lew and Tim decided to form their own practice.. Bridges, Cisar and Mizell, LLC initially practiced out of the Cliffside Center in Lake Ozark. However, the success of the firm allowed Bridges, Cisar and Mizell, LLC to build its own law office building in 2004. Bridges, Cisar and Mizell, LLC moved into the new space at 750 Bagnell Dam Boulevard in Lake Ozark in October of 2004.. Dan's practice continued to grow throughout the first decade of the new millennium. Under Dan's management of Deputy and Mizell, LLC the firm has grown exponentially. 2008 saw the opening of a new location at 16 Camden County Northeast in Camdenton, Missouri. Meet Dan Kennedy, a husband and a father of two little girls. A passionate supporter of the Royals and Chiefs, Dan grew up in Eastern Kansas, where he went to college, met his wife, built lifelong friendships and learned hard lessons.. He chose a career in law because he's a real-world guy who understands that people make real-world mistakes.. When we make a mistake, we need a legal adviser who can come alongside us, help us recognize that mistake, admit it, learn from it and, finally, forget it.. Mistakes are part of our learning process. When mistakes hit the pause button in our lives, we need someone to help us understand our rights, so we can hit play as soon as possible.. Dan knows we're not the only ones who make mistakes. The legal system isn't perfect either.. It lacks flexibility. It's complicated, and too often, it takes advantage of citizens and their futures because law enforcement and criminal justice procedures are more concerned with moving cases than hearing and understanding the unique facts of our individual situations.. Here are four reasons Dan should earn serious consideration as your representative:. - He knows what the prosecutor is thinking.. A former Missouri Department of Revenue attorney, Dan spent most of his time prosecuting DWI and other cases related to driver's licenses.. Organizations, such as the Missouri Bar, have asked Dan to make presentations on DWI law because he knows it inside, outside, backward and forward.. - He knows what the officer is thinking.. Instructors have provided Dan the same DWI training that law enforcement personnel receive.. He's certified in the use of standardized field sobriety tests. He's also extensively trained in the use and manufacturing of breath test devices.. - He knows what your family is thinking.. Dan has expanded his practice to include divorce and probate cases for deeply personal times when children and financial assets are at risk.. Many families have seen him apply the same diligence, consistency and expertise to other areas of law.. - He knows what you're thinking.. Is this guy going to help me? Is he going to treat me like a statistic or like a human being?. Is he more concerned with his time and his fees or my time and my life?. Are any of those questions on your mind? Dan's strength is his ability to make people feel like people.. Dan developed the ability to treat people like people before he graduated with dean's honors from the Washburn University School of Law.. As a manager for a hospitality company, he built his career with a foundation of customer service.
Daniel Juengel

Practice Areas: Criminal Defense
I am a criminal trial lawyer with over 25 years of experience. I have defended death penalty cases and tried numerous murder cases and serious sex offenses. I have represented clients throughout the State of Missouri and in federal district court in Missouri, Illinois, Alabama, and South Carolina. I have argued cases before the Supreme Court of Missouri, the Missouri Court of Appeals, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. I have submitted appellate briefs in the Fourth, Seventh and Eleventh Circuits and the United States Supreme Court.. I am a member of the Federal Criminal Justice Act Lead Panel in the Eastern District of Missouri and the Southern District of Illinois , a contract attorney for the Missouri State Public Defender System and the Principal Shareholder and managing attorney of Frank, Juengel & Radefeld P.C. a St. Louis based criminal defense firm.. I believe everyone accused of a crime has the right to be defended by an experienced and effective lawyer, no matter what the charge. Often the defense lawyer is the only one to stand up for the accused, and stand between them and the Government, who are trying to take away their liberty. I feel privileged to defend my clients and work hard to make sure the Government and the Courts do not violate their Constitutional Rights.
