Yesterday her mom attacked her for the first time and i don’t know what to do. For context her dad is out of the picture and she has two younger brothers to two different dads. There were no injuries, and there is a court date coming up for the tickets given. The vehicle owner received a letter from a subrogation company representing Allstate requesting around $17,000 for damages and asking the BMV to suspend the driving privileges of both the driver and owner however the driver only has a permit. The letter claims the driver was responsible, but the police report does not clearly state fault. This appears to be a subrogation request, not a court judgment. What are the best next steps?
