Sarah Bond was born outside of Chicago in Elgin, Illinois and grew up in Bellingham, Washington.  She attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington ( 1997) where she received a BA in philosophy.  While at Whitman College, Sarah was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority and served as president of the Black Student Union ( 1997)..
