Robert Gasparro

Firm: Lifespan Legal Services
410 Lancaster Avenue , Haverford , Pennsylvania 19041
Practice Areas: Elder Law
Although focusing on Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Probate, my firm maintains relationships with other law firms to meet our clients' legal needs. Our main office is located in Haverford, four miles outside of Philadelphia. If necessary, we make house calls, visits to nursing homes and hospitals. Using conference calls and/or private webinars, we host family meetings for those living in different states or countries. The initial office consultation is free; the initial telephone consultation is at a discounted hourly rate.. I passed both the Pennsylvania Bar and Pennsylvania CPA exam. Although not practicing accounting,  I am a member of the United States Tax Court Bar and maintain an associate membership in the PICPA. I enjoy "number crunching" for tax and estate planning, as much as presenting a case at the bar of the court. I have pledged to meet the ethical, competency, and aspirational standards of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).. I've always had a strong commitment to "giving back to the community" and I currently serve as an advisor, or on the board, of two non-profit institutions as well as write a column for my local community newspaper.. Avvo is one of a growing number of attorney listings that construct an attorney profile and charge a fee for premium listings. We place most of our time and attention on our company website. Please visit it for more information about me, and my firm. ().

Robert Englert

Firm: RFE LAW FIRM, LLC
3510 Baring Street , Philadelphia , Pennsylvania 19104
Practice Areas: Civil Rights, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Products Liability
Mr. Englert is an experienced trial lawyer who has obtained impressive results in the toughest of cases.  He primarily represents clients who have been catastrophically injured as a result of medical malpractice, work accidents, automobile/trucking accidents, or defective products.  Mr. Englert has served as plaintiff’s counsel in hundreds of cases, many of which have resulted in huge, sometimes record-breaking, outcomes.. Mr. Englert’s skills extend beyond the courtroom and into the classrooms at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he is a Lecturer in Law and supervises the Penn Law Mock Trial Team.  In 2012-2013, Mr. Englert’s team won the National Championship in the ABA Section of Labor & Employment’s Trial Advocacy Competition.. Mr. Englert does not shy away from difficult cases that other attorneys may reject because a case is difficult or settlement is unlikely.  "When I take on a plaintiff's case, I have every intention of ensuring they receive their day in Court in front of a jury and prepare every case in anticipation of going to trial and unless the otherside is willing to resolve the case fairly in favor of my client, we'll see them in Court.". Mr. Englert has served as lead counsel or co-counsel in a number of cases that have resulted in huge, sometimes record-breaking, outcomes.  Most recently, Englert was plaintiff's counsel in a birth injury case in Erie, Pennsylvania that resulted in a record-setting $21.6 million verdict.. Mr. Englert was also plaintiff's counsel in a $5.12 million settlement announced in October 2009 for the family of a 16-year-old boy who drowned after he was taken by a school supervisor on an unauthorized off-campus school swimming outing.. In July 2009, Englert, as lead trial counsel, won a $582,000 jury verdict for the family of a bicyclist who was struck and killed by a vehicle passing a double-parked car in Philadelphia.  A settlement had been reached earlier with the owner of the parked car.. Mr. Englert began his career as a trial lawyer at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was one of the founding members of the Penn Law Mock Trial Team, a student-run organization committed to providing interested students with a greater exposure to trial advocacy skills and the benefits of courtroom experience.  In 2009, he was appointed to the University of Pennsylvania Law School adjunct faculty as a Lecturer in Law to supervise and develop the mock trial program. Since then, the team has grown to more than 30 student members who compete annually in competitions across the country.. As a third-year law student, Mr. Englert was the director of The Unemployment Compensation Project, a student-run pro bono clinic with more than 20 members and as well as a legal research and writing instructor.. Mr. Englert has previously worked for the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Bureau of Organized Crime & Narcotics as well as for the United States Attorney's Office in Camden, New Jersey.. Mr. Englert is an avid motorcycle rider and competitive marksman.  He is an Endowment Member of the NRA as well as a member of the International Defensive Pistol Association, the Liberty Township Sportsman's Association, the Delaware County Field & Stream Association, and Targetmaster.
