My practice focuses primarily on litigation. I enjoy helping people and small businesses resolve disputes and move on with their lives. While I am an aggressive advocate, I also try to be mindful of coming up with practical and fair resolutions. I have successfully represented clients in a wide variety of disputes, including those involving insurance coverage, construction defects, commercial/business disputes, employment, and maritime law. In addition to litigation I regularly advise clients on employment, business, and construction issues.. I am a Seattle native and a Ballard High School alumnus. I earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Washington's Jackson School of International Studies, and a juris doctor from the University of Pittsburgh, where I was the Senior Articles Editor of the Journal of Environmental and Public Health Law. I graduated from law school cum laude and was granted membership in the Order of the Coif for high attainments in the study of law. In addition I won the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Community Service Award for my work with Election Protection, and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for being the highest scoring student in Evidence.. I joined Mullavey, Prout, Grenley and Foe LLP in August of 2010. Prior to joining the firm I interned at the United States Department of Labor, the Washington State Attorney General’s Office, and Sonkin & Schrempp PLLC..
