I am a litigation attorney handling personal injury claims and fighting insurance companies that are reluctant to fairly compensate those that are hurt through no fault of their own. I feel fortunate in being able to connect with and advocate for my clients, particularly based on my own experience of having difficulty communicating when I first came to the United States and could not speak English. I also feel fortunate in being allowed to attend Trial Lawyers College in September 2012 where I learned from and became a part of a community of passionate and dedicated lawyers who are committed in the pursuit of justice for their clients.. I began my legal career as a case manager, and later a legal assistant/paralegal.  I went on to earn my Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oregon School of Law.  While in law school, I served as a senior editor for the Oregon Review of International Law, a member of the Moot Court Board, and a judicial extern for the Honorable John V.
