I am a  1990 graduate  of Marquette University Law School and have been practicing in Southeastern Wisconsin since that time.  You can learn more about my areas of practice and experience on my web site, Facebook and LinkedIn.  Areas of practice have been family law, divorce, legal separation, custody child support, guardianships, termination of parental rights, adoptions, children in need of protective services, grandparents rights, paternity, wills and estates.  I also have an unique area of law practice in equine law.  As a horse owner and lover, this provides me with the experience and background to assist owners and business people in contractual and litigation matters relating to horses.  In August, 2022, I was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois.  This allows me to continue to represent clients in their legal matters over the bordering States.. I am licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin , the State of Illinois, Eastern District of the United States District Court, and the United States Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit.  I have been successful in appeals in both the State of Wisconsin and the United States Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit.  I argued before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District I in a landmark child support case of Winkler vs. Winkler, 282 746, 2005 WI , 699 N.W.2d 652(Ct. )..
