Designation and citation of Code

(a) This codification of the laws of Arkansas, consisting of this title and the following titles, subtitles, chapters, subchapters, and sections, as amended from time to time, shall constitute and be known as the "Arkansas Code of 1987 Annotated". (b) As used in acts and resolutions of the General Assembly, and within this Code, "Arkansas Code of 1987 Annotated", "Arkansas Code of 1987", "Arkansas Code Annotated", "Arkansas Code", "the Code", or "this Code", unless the context otherwise requires, shall be construed to refer to this enactment of the Arkansas Code of 1987 Annotated and amendments and revisions thereof and additions and supplements thereto. (c) Sections of the Code may be cited by the abbreviation "A.C.A." followed by the number of the section. For example, this section would be cited as "A.C.A. § 1-2-113 ". Acts 1987, No. 267, § 1.
