Official statutory text
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, data in the California Education Information System, solely or in conjunction with data from any other data system, may be used by local educational agencies for purposes of evaluating teachers and administrators and making employment decisions, only if these decisions comply with Chapter 10.7 (commencing with Section 3540) of Division 4 of Title 1 of the Government Code.
