A, title XIV, §1422(b)(2), Oct. 21, 1998, 112 Stat. 2681–792; Pub. L. 106–113, div. B, §1000(a)(7) [div. A, title II, §205], Nov. 29, 1999, 113 Stat. 1536, 1501A–422; Pub. L. 114–317, §7(d)(2)(E), Dec. 16, 2016, 130 Stat. 1606, which contained special provisions relating to the Agency for International Development, was repealed in part and omitted in part. Subsecs. (a) and (b), which related to the Inspector General's supervision of security activities and the appointment of an Assistant Inspector General for Security, were omitted from the Code as superseded by section 587 of Pub. L. 105–277 (22 U.S.C. 2381 note), which established an Office of Security within the Office of the Administrator of the Agency for International Development. Subsecs. (c), (d), (e), and (f) were repealed and reenacted as section 409 of this title by Pub. L. 117–286, §§3(b), 7, Dec. 27, 2022, 136 Stat. 4227, 4361.
