§ 8. Establishment of an office of cannabis management. There is\nhereby established, within the division of alcoholic beverage control,\nan independent office of cannabis management, which shall have exclusive\njurisdiction to exercise the powers and duties provided by this chapter,\nexcept as expressly authorized in sections sixteen-a of this article and\none hundred thirty-one of this chapter. The office shall exercise its\nauthority by and through an executive director.\n
