§ 2980. Wrongful death; notice of claim. No wrongful death action\nagainst a public authority or public benefit corporation shall be\ncommenced unless a notice of claim has been served on the authority or\ncorporation in accordance with the provisions of section fifty-e of the\ngeneral municipal law.\n
