Ohio Rev. Code § 123.08

September 10, 2012 House Bill 487 - 129th General Assembly The director of administrative services shall appoint such forepersons, patrol officers, lock tenders, inspectors, engineers, and all other employees as are necessary for the maintenance and operation of the public works. They shall be assigned to duty under the supervision of the director, under rules and regulations prescribed by the director. Any such employee, when deemed necessary by the director, shall give proper bond to the state, conditioned for the faithful performance of the employee's duties. Such bonds may, in the discretion of the director, be individual, schedule, or blanket bonds.
