§ 705.74. Meetings of council - special sessions

October 1, 1953 House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The council shall meet at ten a.m. on the first day of January following a regular municipal election at the usual place for holding such meetings, at which time the newly elected councilmen shall assume the duties of their office. Thereafter the council shall meet, at least twice each month, at such times as are prescribed by ordinance or resolution. Special sessions of the council shall be called by the clerk upon the written request of the mayor, the chairman, or any two members of council. Any such report shall state the subjects to be considered at the meeting, and no other subjects shall be considered.
