EXTENDED BENEFITS. Except when the result would be inconsistent
with the other provisions of this section, as provided in the rules
of the Commission, the provisions of this act which apply to claims
for, or the payment of, regular benefits shall apply to claims for,
and the payment of, extended benefits including, but not limited to,
claim filing, claimant reporting and registration, information to
claimants, notices to claimants of their weekly and total extended
benefit amounts determinations, redeterminations, appeals and
review, week for which benefits are paid, disqualifications and
eligibility requirements, but excluding those provisions which apply
to any waiting period, monetary qualifying or requalifying
requirements and the computation of weekly and total amounts of
regular benefits.
