Division of educational service - Director

(a) There is hereby created in the department of environment and conservation a division to be known as the "division of educational service." (b) The head of the division shall be a director appointed by the commissioner of environment and conservation. (c) It is the duty of the division to promote education in regard to all conservation matters and to assist the various departments, divisions, and agencies with educational programs concerning conservation as may be deemed appropriate. (d) The director shall perform such other duties and functions as may be directed by the commissioner. Acts 1957, ch. 314, § 1; impl. am. Acts 1959, ch. 9, § 11; impl. am.
