Scottish, Scots-Irish Heritage Day

June 24 of each year is to be observed as "Scottish, Scots-Irish Heritage Day," to honor and recognize the contributions people of Scottish and Scots-Irish heritage made to the founding and development of Tennessee. Such day shall not be a legal holiday as defined in § 15-1-101 . Amended by 2020 Tenn. Acts, ch. 707, s 4, eff. 6/22/2020. Acts 1995, ch. 233, § 1.
