Bluegrass Day

Official statutory text

The fourth Saturday in May of each year shall be observed as "Bluegrass Day," to honor and recognize bluegrass music, its great beauty and artistry, and its prominent place in Tennessee's proud heritage and present day economy. This day shall not be a legal holiday as defined in § 15-1-101 . Amended by 2020 Tenn. Acts, ch. 707, s 5, eff. 6/22/2020. Acts 2007 , ch. 12, § 1.
