Filing of required documents

(a) When any document is required to be filed by a date or time prescribed by this title, it shall be received by the officer or body with which it is to be filed by the date or time prescribed. (b) The document shall be prominently marked with the time and date of filing and a receipt showing the same information shall be given to the person filing the document. Acts 1972, ch. 740, § 1; T.C.A., § 2-108.
